Started having a play around with QR codes today, and have learnt a few things along the way.  It seems you can do almost anything with the design of QR codes, except having a light coloured code against a dark background, which is slightly annoying.

Anyway here is what I have “achieved” so far:

What is Link Building?

Link Building (or Link Swapping, as it is sometime known as) is when two website owners, with websites which are related to each other, agree to link to each other from their website.

But like most good Search Engine Optimisation practices, to build a good quality neighbourhood of swapped links with similar themed web sites takes time and some effort.
Getting Started

The best way to get started is by researching websites similar to yours using Google, and them simply e-mailing the website owner.  What have you got to loose?  Here is an example ‘Link Building’ e-mail:

We came across your web site on Google and would very much like to exchange links with you.  Swapping links with similar themed and good quality web sites can help improve search engine positions and encourage mutual visitors to each web site.
